Dpi Concepts originated from humble beginnings in 2003, operating from a home in Midrand, Johannesburg, outsourcing Digital Print and Portable Display Hardware from local suppliers. As demand increased for better quality, innovative Portable Displays we made the decision to import our own range of quality Portable Indoor & Outdoor Branding Displays.

Our stringent demands on our print suppliers were taking its toll as they could not keep up with our tight print deadlines as well as the quality of print production we were demanding. The result was the acquisition of our own in-house print facilities in 2004 incorporating the latest cutting-edge High Resolution Wide Format Digital Print Production. Our sales staff, with a combined experience of over 15 years, regularly visit international advertising trade shows throughout the year to source and update our ever increasing range of innovative display solutions.

Today Dpi Concepts premises, with new state of the art factory / showroom / warehouse and production facility based in Midrand South Africa, are home to 15 dynamic team members and are considered by many as market leaders in Portable Branding Displays, Exhibition Stands and High Resolution Wide Format Digital Print. On average we import a 20ft container of portable branding display hardware from our factory in China every 2 months so as not to be out of stock for those ever important big rush orders. This also results in better costing for you the customer and stringent quality control.

Our print production department is basically split into two departments namely Eco Solvent and Dye Sublimation. We have chosen to stick with Roland printers all round as there print quality, stability and back up service are far superior to any other manufacturer, currently we have four Roland Digital Printers, two state of the art Roland 6 colour XJ-740 printers printing anything other than fabric and two Roland RS-640 dye-sublimation printers feeding our Monti Antonio Calendered Heat Press. The resulting print capacity is fenomenal as we have two of each printer which means we are able to run big rush orders on both printers simultaneously resulting in extremely quick turn-around times from order to dispatch. If lamination is required we are able to laminate in-house on our super wide 1.6m laminator, especially handy for urgent Exhibition panels.  All finishing such as stitching, cutting & joining are done in-house in our finishing department resulting in extremely quick turnaround times and stringent quality controls.
