Design Templates and DTP Set Up Costs:

All our products have Product Specific Design Templates. These Design Templates can be e mailed to you on request or can be downloaded on our website: https://www.dpiconcepts.co.za/templates/

It is quite common that the time our production department spend on importing ‘print ready’ artwork received commonly takes up allot of time, sometimes multiple hours. Your artwork may contain multiple layers and gradients to name a few. It is up to our DTP team to import and then export each layout into the correct format that our Printer Rip Software uses, hence the DTP Set up charges listed below:

A Standard Once Off DTP Set Up fee of R195.00 ex vat will be charged on all orders requiring basic set up and electronic proofs.

DTP Set Up fees for complex artwork will be quoted on once received.

Format & Additional Charges:

Final Print Ready Artwork must be sent to us in: High resolution Vector Pdf (preferred), Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. (Don’t forget to convert all fonts to paths) Bleed is required as indicated on our design templates, it is standard practice to keep all text at least 100mm from the edges allowing a safety area. Please make sure you remove the bleed lines before saving final print files.

Please note, if the print ready artwork received is not to specification, ie: Not in our latest product specific templates, fonts have not been converted, images or logos are low resolution, artwork is cut off, needs to be edited in any way, additional costs for us to fix the artwork in house will be charged at R495 ex vat per hour. This will be quoted on prior to commencement, alternatively the files will be emailed back to you with a list of changes required.

Logo Redraw

If logo’s received are not Vector Pdf Logo’s and need to be redrawn this will be charged at R595 ex vat per hour. Depending on the complexity and detail required can take up to anything between 1 or 6 hours. Logo redraw costs will be quoted prior to any redraw or design work commences.

Sourcing of logo’s:

If our design team are required to source Vector Pdf logo’s this service will be charged at R195 ex vat, per hour. Usually, 1 or 2 hours is required. Additional changes required will be billed at R195 ex vat, per change.

Pantone / Corporate Colours

VERY IMPORTANT! If your logo has specific colours, usually PANTONE COLOURS, you need to supply us with these please. It is of vital importance to make us aware of these special PANTONE COLOURS as what you see on your screen is by no means exactly what will be printed on the actual fabric or pvc we print on. We cannot take responsibility for colour variations if these PANTONE COLOURS are not given to us.

Production Times, Terms & Conditions:

Our standard production time per order is between 5 and 10 working days from artwork approval and 50% deposit payment received if you do not have a 30-day account with us. If our production department is not that busy your order might be produced in less than 5 working days. Please do not count on this and rather work on lead times of between 5 and 10 working days. Orders required for completion in less than 5 working days will be deemed rush orders. A rush order surcharge of between 10% and 20% will apply depending on size of order and actual completion date required. If a rush order needs to be couriered an additional overnight delivery cost will apply. The overnight courier quote will be communicated to you prior to commencement of order.

When will I receive my order?

You should receive your order roughly 5 to 10 working days after final artwork approval and payment proof is emailed to us.

If you are situated Outside Gauteng, an additional 2 to 4 days courier transit time is needed, please keep this is mind. As stated above, if delivery is required sooner an overnight courier charge will be quoted prior to shipping. This additional charge needs to be settled prior to shipping.

Delivery Charges:

If you prefer to use your own couriers, you are more than welcome to arrange your own collection. If your order is needed sooner than our standard production lead time we can quote on an overnight service if required.

All orders are manufactured in our Midrand factory. Delivery prices vary depending on the distance from our factory in Midrand and are as follows:

Within a 15km radius from our factory in Midrand: R195 ex vat [Max order size: R20 000 ex vat]

Within a 25km radius from our factory in Midrand: R295 ex vat [Max order size: R20 000 ex vat]

Within a 50km radius from our factory in Midrand: R395 ex vat [Max order size: R20 000 ex vat]

Orders with delivery addresses further than a 50km radius from Midrand, ie: Outside Gauteng, will be quoted on an order for order basis. Orders with totals larger than R20 000 ex vat will also be quoted on an order for order basis.
